I first became acquainted with Little Hope Baptist Church as their interim pastor in 1990. For almost a year my wife and I had the pleasure of serving this gracious fellowship of believers. We returned this June to resume our service here. The church has experienced significant growth in these years; we are very impressed with the strong number of new families, the active ministry to children and youth, and the strong sense of unity we have found.

We live in Franklin, Tennessee, where I have been the pastor of the West Franklin Baptist Church until retirement this past January. Before that I was a pastor in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona, coming to work at the Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville in 1986.

Our prayer is for a full-time pastor at Little Hope in the near future. Until then I look forward to every Sunday with this fine congregation.
